Spending the $ We Saved on Buying a New Boat

So, after deciding not to sell the boat, we realized there were some things that were worth investing in to make our lives more comfortable. Sonar fish finder & table: Not only to keep Nina happy finding fish when we don’t have other signs like birds, debris, and sea life, we splurged on a Raymarine RV 200 sonor fish finder. The install required yet another 2 holes in the boat which didn’t make Don happy, but the ends justify the means! Couple that with a new fish processing table to save my back, and life is good! Enjoying Enjoy
Panama Possee Parteeee The Panama Possee, of which we’ve been members for four years now, had a big bash with pig roast and open Flor de Cana rum (yes, we bought a 1/4 case). Last Days in Costa Rica
Abort Abort! Since we enjoyed the 10 mile Golfito hike to the Rainforest Mountain Reserve last time we were here, we invited cruiser friends Ian and Mary (MV Aegis) and Laura (SV Carinthian) to join us again. This time, we planned after reaching the top, to take what looked like a cut through into town versus returning the same way. Well, that didn’t bode well. There was a landslide which wiped out part of the cut through, which was appearing more and more to be just a path cut by rain versus walking path. So 1/5 of the way down…

Big News!
First, what did we do the past 4+ months? After packing up Enjoy 4.5 months ago, we traveled to the US, Scotland, England, France and Israel! We visited friends we’ve met sailing (SV English Sally and SV Gladan), family and friends from home, attended a wedding, and two work conferences. We finished our travels by attending the US Sailboat Show in Annapolis, MD, volunteering in the Panama Possee and Seven Seas Cruising Association booths. 2002 Sailing Buddies Getting Enjoy ready to sail again Amazingly enough, once again, the boat looked great due to how we left it inside and out,…
