I’ve upped my game…

So along with learning a lot about sail trim, plumbing, and securing mooring balls without losing the hooks, I’ve definitely upped my game in the galley.

Learning to cook with new foods that don’t need much or any refrigeration is a challenge. I have to say my Japanese eggplant with scallions, garlic and ginger, and the Cuban Yuca root with lime, garlic and onions just rocked. And then there was the fresh turmeric, ginger, garlic chicken that went nicely with the eggplant for an Asian theme although I did substitute basmati, for jasmine, rice.

In sum, we’re eating well even though Don appears to be losing some weight.

Just arrived in Georgetown, Exhumas so we’re off to provision and discover.
